Representitive Accomplishments

§   Contracted to provide expansion planning expertise for downtown Tampa’s only grocery store: Duckweed Urban Market.  Charged with providing entire design layout and space planning for the 6-figure budget renovation; representing 8,000sf of design. 

§   Designed the creative illustration for the “OASIS Disaster Relief Station”; a specialized mobile response vehicle with the ability to carry over 650 gallons of water to victims of natural disasters.  Drawings for the Relief Station were cited on Tampa’s news station, WSTP; vehicle is currently being reviewed by FEMA to be used as a national resource in times of emergency response. 

§   Contracted by Heat Pipe Technology to provide engineering, project management and AutoCAD expertise in the “ground up” development of a standards system used to create customizable sheet metal parts.  Developed unique process workflows for each unit and implemented a quality assurance tracking form to ensure compliance and consistency.  Project additionally required assembling evaporator coils to better comprehend the potential mistakes and hidden issues in the creation of part files.  Developed a drawing process which was used to reduce the number of inaccuracies of sheet metal parts; overall efforts resulted in a 33% decrease in the man- hours required to produce each unit and an 88% increase in turnaround and production.

Professional History

Drafter/Designer/Space Planner:  As a freelance contractor worked on a diverse list of projects including Duckweed Urban Market, Heat Pipe Technologies and the Oasis Disaster Relief Station.  Additionally, contracted to provide surveying expertise for vacant commercial units for future layout and planning, as-built drawings for several bank branches/medical offices for future lease negotiations, and elevations for retail space renovation to medical facilities.  Able to provide detailed measurements within critical time constraints.  TrevorMartinDesigns, Tampa, FL and Denver, CO (2005-Present).

Drafter: As a drafter for Agro-Trade, responsibilities included partnering with construction managers, project managers, real estate development specialists, and architects on all aspects of the Okey Dokey Food Mart project including site procurement & construction details. Additionally tasked with surveying locations ranging in size from 5,000sf to 7,700sf and drawings of 140,000sf+ “as-built” space in < than 1 month. Developed 3+ schemes per store and produced “traffic flow” layouts for in-store foot traffic.  Provided support in the overall design theory of each store’s layout utilizing market research. Agro-Trade/Okey Dokey Food Marts, Miami, FL (2012-2013).

Space Planner/Team Lead:  Recruited to create and maintain AutoCAD layouts for Citi’s North American properties and acquisitions division; generating over 32 million (MM) square feet of layout design during course of tenure.  Partnered with facility management on diverse projects including assisting in the development of a “drawing quality assurance” process.  Actively involved in all facets of a new drawing management system, “Archibus”; a system derived from  AutoCAD and a SQL proprietary database Other duties included developing relationships with Asset Managers and outsourced Architects; developing a multitude of “what if” layout scenarios and high level reports for management.
